I found myself LOVING this game. And that's a first. I could hardly believe I was even playing a baseball game. MLB 08 the show is the new standard in baseball games. But that's just my opinion.
Now they need to add some of these elements to NBA the life.

But as of right now, this game does look sorta bland.
See, the thing about the fps genre is that it is VERY abundant. It's like a new one comes out every two weeks. So even a half-way decent one can be seen as just being "good" and not "great".
So, if you want your fps game to compete, it has to have something out of the ordinary and mind blowing. That's the only way it will have HALF a chance.

They stopped being lazy and using excuses like "the ps3 is too hard for us to program" and actually DID their jobs
I think MS never expected EA to actually reach 60fps on the ps3 while the 360 games for EA would stick at 60fps.
It's almost as if they never expected EA to learn how to program for ps3 properly
EDIT- yeah it does seem doubtful mighty douche, but the only other explanation is that MS expects 120fps then. Which I SERIOUSLY doubt

Metroid stopped being made by japan home console wise. All 3 metroid prime games are U.S. made
The moment the Metroid series went fps, the American company took over. The last japanese HOME console (meaning not counting handhelds) metroid game was super metroid for snes

But for me, I have to have the blu ray. I don't know what it is. Maybe it's just the sense of security. Like if my hard drive gets wiped, I'd lose the game too. It's the same reason I purchased warhawk on blu ray. Plus, it's more collectible as a disc

You see people beating and killing each other EVERYDAY for this game systems.
Some kid stole $10,000 for a wii. Two teenagers beat a kid to death after a botched stealing of a psp. Ps3 shipments get jacked. And now you have famlies batting each other for 360
